Campag Ghibli Track Tubular Wheels
Campagnolo are super proud of its glorious track record with the Ghibli disc wheel, one of the original and still the best disc wheels, used by rider such as Moser, Indurain, Ullrich over the years to name but a few to hundreds of successes including Olympic & World records & medals, grand tour victories, hour records, the list goes on. The very first tense structure wheel ever introduced in the cycling world. Despite the fact that the Ghibli was still very competitive with newer models, the R&D department at Campagnolo sought to take lessons from this iconic wheel and build upon them in order to produce the next generation of extreme performance. The use of carbon fibre throughout in addition to completely new construction techniques give the new wheel an ultralight build, while not sacrificing its performance attributes.
Cult Bearings (Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology) is a combination of the highest quality ceramic ball bearings and stainless steel races available on the market, to reduce friction to the very minimum yet maintain a consistently high level of performance for long periods of time.
Utilizing a convex lens profile, the Ghibli Ultra wheels are designed with precision for optimal airflow and minimal aerodynamic resistance on the sides, resulting in a truly unique and effective aerodynamic design.
Utilizing a tension system derived from advanced aerospace technology using aramidic fibers, the Ghibli Ultra track wheels boast immense rigidity and aerodynamic performance to maximize the transmission of power to the wheel. With a sleek new design and the incorporation of CULT technology, these wheels are a top choice for any competitive cyclist.
