The Diamante by Basso is their lightest UCI approved road racing bike, designed to provide comfort on the road and top performance on challenging climbs and descents. With a short rear triangle, the Diamante maintains stability during seated climbing and becomes highly reactive when weight is shifted forward while pedaling.
First released in 1998, the Diamante has undergone 8 evolutions, further solidifying its position as Basso's flagship bike. With continuous and meticulous improvements over its 45-year history, the Diamante delivers a cutting-edge ride with a traditional touch. Fine-tuned over decades of use, its refined geometry achieves unparalleled performance for an intense and exhilarating riding experience.
Basso's in-depth study of carbon shapes has enhanced its characteristics, particularly in areas where energy is generated and discharged, such as the bottom bracket and steering area. By using reduced thickness and weight, along with specific shapes, Basso achieves greater torsional rigidity, allowing for efficient power.
