GRAVEL SPECIFIC CARBON LAYUP

Drawing on our experience in working with carbon, we developed a unique layup exclusively for the 765 GRAVEL RS. By optimizing fiber orientations and a specific combination of carbon - 35% HM, 40% IM, 10% HR & 15% specific fibre - we were able to maximze pedaling performance, while preserving ride comfort.

DESIGNED & MANUFACTURED BY LOOK

Since LOOK’s beginning in the cycling world, at a time when metal was king, our material of choice has always been carbon. For over 30 years, we have developed - within our own factories - a unique expertise and an extensive know-how in carbon fiber technologies to achieve highly-specific and performance-oriented properties.

TIRE CLEARANCE

Clearance for 700x40 or 650x2.1 tires. The stock 700x40mm tires provide a balance bewteen road performance and off-road comfort and traction. 50% road use, 50% off-road use.

Capable of accommodating other types of wheel and tyre:

Road-type wheels: 700 x 28 or 32 mm. Fitted with this type of tyre cross- section, with a prescribed pressure of between 4 and 6 bars, it can rival the performance of a bike designed exclusively for the road. 100% road use

650B x 2.1 mountain bike-style wheels. By reducing the diameter of the rim, a wider tyre of up to 54 mm can be mounted. All-terrain then takes the upper hand, for 70% track, 30% road use.

3D WAVE STAYS

The stays are designed with 2 deflection points that enable a 15% increase in the natural compliance of the carbon. Furthermore, by flattening the tube its vertical movement can be improved while increasing its lateral rigidity. These uniquely shaped seat stays filter shock while increaseing traction and control on rough terrain, without increasing the frame's weight.

DIRECT DRIVE CONCEPT

The integrated stem is designed to compliment the frame's aesthetic and to be both lightweight and rigid to ensure precise bike handling. The DIRECT DRIVE concept enables the simultaneous development of all steering components (fork, headset, stem and handlebars). This ensures that there is no apparent loss of rigidity in the cockpit and provides a real sense of security and performance.

ADVENTURE READY

The frame features mounting points for up to 4 water bottles (3 inside the main triangle and one on the bottom of the downtube) as well as a bento style box on the top tube. With multiple water bottle mounts riders can dial in their optimal setup.
