The King is dead, long live the King – the Kinesis Aithein is back to reclaim its place as the fastest bike in the Kinesis line-up. For 2023, our premium aluminium race frame is faster, more comfortable and more fun than ever before. Whether it’s racing the local crit or winning the sprint for the sign, the new Aithein is the bike to get you there quicker.

Using advanced aluminium construction techniques, we’ve created a lightweight frame that truly questions the need for a carbon bike. Thanks to the advanced manufacturing technique called Superplastic Forming (SPF), we’ve minimised weight whilst maximising stiffness and strength where you need it. The result is a high-performance frame that excels in transferring rider energy into forward momentum.

Now with more tyre clearance – the new Aithein now features 30mm tyre clearance for speed and grip, allowing you to ride at full speed on every road surface on modern larger-volume tyres. To complement the frame we chose the excellent Futura Road fork from Columbus, known for its impeccable ride quality and unmatched vibration damping.

Flat mount brake attachment and industry standard 12mm thru-axles are used on the disc brake model with GW’s excellent switch lever for a clean looking and dependable set up. No matter how you choose to ride, if you choose to ride fast, choose to ride Aithein!

Super Plastic Formed Alloy Frame — constructed from tubes that are created with an advanced manufacturing technique named Superplastic Forming (SPF), which involves heating the alloy until it exhibits superplasticity, and then creating complex tube shapes using gas pressure.

Super Light: The Aithein Disc frame tips the scales at just 1.60kg (53cm).

Columbus Futura Road Disc Fork — T700S and HFM Carbon Fibre Monocoque construction, 45mm rake, 440g fork. Stiff with high vibration damping for a smooth ride.

30mm Tyre Clearance — It is becoming widely accepted that wider tyres offer more speed, more grip and more comfort on real world surfaces. The new Aithein Disc will take up to 30mm tyres so you can choose the right tyre for you and your riding conditions.

Kinesis Rider Fit Geometry — Geometry adjustments have been made to ensure a better fit across a greater range of rider dimensions. As a result there is more consistent handling across sizes, less toe overlap, and more intuitive sizing.

68mm Threaded Bottom Bracket — Threaded BBs allow you to use reliable, creak free bottom brackets that withstand year round British conditions.

Adaptable Cable Ports — Thanks to interchangeable cable entry points you can run exactly the routing you need, ensuring there are no excess holes into the frame.

Wireless Electronic / Mechanical / 2x / 1x Compatible — The Aithein frame is designed to work with mechanical and all wireless electronic groupsets.
